Daubys Comprehensive Fall Program

Cost: $450.00

Open To: Players Grades 9 through 12

This program will put an emphasis on individual player needs from perspective of foundational athleticism. This will combine Daubys Fall Baseball and a Fall Strength and Conditioning Program, pairing strength training with continued baseball skill development.  

The primary objective for this comprehensive Fall Baseball program is instruction and player development, in addition to strength and agility training.  Players will complete a general registration. Once all general registrations are complete, players will be divided into either the 15U or 18U age levels for practices and games.

  • Each team level will anticipate a minimum of 12-14 practices, 8-10 games and one or two local tournaments over the course of 7 weeks.
  • Baseball activities will predominately take place on Tuesdays and Thursday evenings, with most game activity on Saturdays or Sundays.
  • A complete schedule will be outlined once registration closes.   The working schedule will be updated daily on the HBA website.
  • The anticipated start date is Tuesday, August 27th with fall baseball activities completed by the weekend of October 20th.
  • All practices take place at Legion Park with games between Sioux Falls, Harrisburg, Brandon and Tea.
  • Coaches and staff are sensitive to competing fall priorities (i.e., school!, school sports, family activities) and all games are scheduled around MS and HS football games.  This program has been designed to offer more of a relaxed baseball outlet, while still offering competitive skill enhancement.  Players will not be penalized for absences, etc.

The Strength and Conditioning component will focus on size and strength, speed, mobility, etc., or a combination of these.  Assessments will determine an individualized plan for each player and will create groups of players with similar traits and goals.  This program will transition perfectly into two months of pure strength development (could be speed/mobility for some) and the Arm Care/Velocity program and hitting programs. The strength and conditioning component will take place on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, immediately after school, with some mornings as available and as needed.
